Give the gift of Computer Education-Sponsor a computer lab


Cahuita Computer Center-This is the regional training center for adults including teachers, healthcare workers, indigenous groups, women's groups and more. This center also provides the Cahuita primary and secondary public school children computer classes. The center consist of a classroom (22 computer), a practice room (11 computers), a repair shop (6 computer work station), and a storage area (150 computer).

Monte Verde- The school of Monte Verde has a computer lab consisting of 4 computers and a printer. Installed March 23, 2003

Bordon- The school of Bordon has a computer lab consisting of 15 networked computers and a printer. Installed April 29, 2003. View Students Projects

Dindirí- The school of Dindirí has a computer lab consisting of 8 computers. Installed May 13, 2003.

La Bomba- The school of La Bomba has a computer lab consisting of 11 networked computers and a printer. Installed May  15, 2003.

Escuela Corriente Grande-The school of Corriente grande has three computers and a printer which work off of 2, 75 Watt solar panel. Installed August 8, 2003. View Students Projects

Vesta- The school of Vesta has a computer lab consisting of 11 computers. It serves both the primary and secondary school children. Installation date October 10, 2003.

 

Escuela Cahuita- The school of Cahuita has 4 computers with a digital microscope and a digital web camera. The computers are on desks with wheels and are designed to be used in each classroom. This is a collaborative project with Intel, Foundation Omar Dengo (FOD), y the Ministry of Public Education (MEP).  Specialized training was provided to all the teachers at the school to improve educational resources in math, science, reading, language, history, art, music, and special education. Puerto Viejo- The school of Puerto Viejo has a computer lab consisting of 15 networked computers, and a printer. Installed May 7, 2004.

Gondoca- The school of Gondoca has a computer lab consisting of 4 computers. Installed May 13, 2004. Supported by Peace Corps volunteers

Celia- The school of Celia has a computer lab consisting of 12 computers. Installed May 13, 2004.

Bernardo Drugg- The school of Bernardo Drugg has a computer lab consisting of 15 computers. Installed June 2, 2004.

Tuba Creek- The school of Tuba Creek has a computer lab consisting of 4 computers. Installed July 7, 2004.

Berverly- The school of Berverly has 1 computers for a special project. Installed May 17, 2004.

Nandayure- The school of Nandayure has 1 computers for a special project. Installed August 10, 2004.


2005

Olympia Trejos The school of Olympia Trejos has a computer lab consisting of 11 computers and a printer. Installed February 27, 2005.

Rio Victoria- The school of Rio Victoria has a computer lab consisting of 3 computers, a printer and a digital microscope. Installed April 12, 2005.

Saboria- The school of Saboria has a computer lab consisting of 5 computers.  Installed April 12, 2005.

Comadre- The school of Comadre has a computer lab consisting of 3 computers. Installed May 7, 2005.

San box- The school of San box has a computer lab consisting of 8 computers and a printer. Installed April 25, 2005.

Bananito sur- The school of Bananito sur has a computer lab consisting of 20 computers. Installed June 17, 2005. Supported by Peace Corps volunteers

Mata Limon- The school of Mata Limon has 2 computers and a digital microscope which the students use in the classroom. Installed April 17, 2005. Supported by Peace Corps volunteers and Intel® Teach to the Future program.

Colonia Puriscaleña- The school of Colonia Puriscaleña has a computer lab consisting of 2 computers. Installed May 11, 2005.

Tortuguero- The school of Tortuguero has a computer lab consisting of 13 computers. This lab is to serve the High school and primary school for this remote community. Installed June 29, 2005. Supported by Peace Corps volunteers

Paraiso/Bananito-The school of Paraiso-Bananito has a computer lab consisting of 12 computers. Installed August 3, 2005.

Jabuy- The school of Jabuy has a computer lab consisting of 2 computers and a digital microscope. Installed July 17, 2005.
